Formed in 1967, Three Dog Night is a harmony rock band that combines Hollywood pizazz with soulful swagger. Originally called Redwood, the band made recordings with the legendary Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson. Founded by vocalists Danny Hutton, Cory Wells, and Chuck Negron, Three Dog Night showcased up-and-coming songwriters and some of the biggest names in the music scene, helping to build the careers of Elton John, Harry Nilsson ("One") and Randy Newman ("Mama Told Me Not to Come"), Laura Nyro ("Eli's Coming"), Paul Williams ("An Old Fashioned Love Song"), and Hoyt Axton ("Joy to the World," "Never Been to Spain").
The iconic band even helped to define the post-hippie pop music era with a string of iconic Top Ten singles in the early seventies. The band now consists of Danny Hutton (vocals), Paul Kingery (vocals, guitar, bass), Pat Bautz (drums, vocals), David Morgan (vocals), Howard Laravea (keyboards) and Timothy Hutton (bass, vocals).
Three Dog Night have been in the scene for over 5 incredible decades and they have a lot to show for it!!
