Dolly Parton's Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol is a heartwarming musical led by the legendary music of the eleven-time Grammy Award-winning icon, Dolly Parton. Based on the book by David H. Bell, and adapted by Bell, Couch, and Curt Wollan, it's an amazing production that's been returning to the stage as soon as chilly winter nights start rushing in - since 2019.

Built around an original score by Parton, her songwriting skills and storytelling abilities shine through. The Setting

An adaptation of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", this reimagination takes place in the 1930s at the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. Ebenezer Scrooge becomes an owner of a mining company in town and has harshly treated his community as a result of being consumed by greed. Visited by his late business partner alongside three ghosts who push him to see life in a new light, he soon discovers that love is above all. Be sure to saddle up for bangin' country vibes as Parton's music such as "Once Upon a Christmas" switches things up.
